Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026
At Saffa Supply, we aim to make your delivery experience as simple and reliable as possible. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped and delivered within South Africa.
By placing an order with Saffa Supply, you acknowledge and agree to the delivery terms set out below, subject always to your rights under applicable South African law.
1. Delivery Method
All Saffa Supply orders are delivered using Aramex Store-to-Door or another courier service selected by Saffa Supply where necessary.
Orders are delivered to the delivery address provided by the customer during checkout.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery address, contact number and other delivery information are accurate and complete.
2. Delivery Time
Our standard delivery timeframe is:
8–11 business days
The delivery timeframe begins once your order has been processed and handed over to the courier.
Business days are Monday to Friday and exclude South African public holidays.
The 8–11 business day period is an estimated delivery timeframe and may be affected by circumstances outside Saffa Supply's reasonable control.
3. Order Processing
Orders are normally processed before being handed to the courier.
Processing time may vary depending on:
-
Order volume;
-
Stock availability;
-
Payment verification;
-
Public holidays;
-
Weekends;
-
Promotional periods; and
-
Other circumstances affecting order processing.
You will receive applicable order and/or shipping confirmation once your order has been processed.
4. Tracking
Where tracking information is available, customers may receive a tracking number or tracking information for their order.
Customers are responsible for using the tracking information provided to monitor the progress of their delivery.
If your tracking information appears to be delayed or has not updated for a reasonable period, please contact us so that we can assist where reasonably possible.
5. Courier Delays
Saffa Supply uses third-party courier services to deliver orders.
While we work with the courier to ensure that orders are delivered as efficiently as possible, we cannot guarantee that the courier will always deliver within its estimated timeframe.
Delivery may be delayed by circumstances including, but not limited to:
-
Courier network delays;
-
High delivery volumes;
-
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
-
Failed delivery attempts;
-
Weather conditions;
-
Road closures;
-
Traffic or transportation disruptions;
-
Public holidays;
-
Natural disasters;
-
Strikes or industrial action;
-
Civil unrest;
-
Power or telecommunications disruptions;
-
Security incidents;
-
Customs or regulatory issues where applicable; or
-
Other circumstances reasonably outside Saffa Supply's control.
Where a delay occurs because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, Saffa Supply will not be responsible for losses arising solely from the delay to the extent permitted by South African law.
However, this does not exclude or limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Where we become aware of a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate the delay and assist with resolving the issue.
6. Delays Caused by the Customer
Saffa Supply will not be responsible for delays caused by incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by the customer.
This includes:
-
Incorrect address;
-
Incorrect postal code;
-
Incorrect contact number;
-
Incorrect recipient information;
-
Failure to respond to courier communications;
-
Failure to be available for delivery;
-
Refusal to accept a lawful delivery; or
-
Failure to provide reasonable access to the delivery location.
Additional delivery charges arising from customer-caused delivery failures may be payable by the customer where permitted by law.
7. Failed Delivery Attempts
If the courier is unable to complete delivery, the courier may attempt to contact the customer or arrange another delivery attempt in accordance with its procedures.
Customers should ensure that they are available at the provided delivery address and that their contact details are correct.
If an order is returned to Saffa Supply because the customer repeatedly fails to accept delivery or provides incorrect delivery information, we may contact the customer to arrange a further delivery.
Any reasonable additional delivery costs caused by the customer's actions may be payable by the customer where permitted by law.
8. Delivery Address
Orders will be delivered to the address provided at checkout.
Please carefully check your address before completing your purchase.
Once an order has been dispatched, changing the delivery address may not be possible and may result in additional charges or delays.
Saffa Supply is not responsible for delivery failures caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
9. Damaged Parcels
Customers should inspect their parcel when it is delivered.
If the parcel appears visibly damaged, customers are encouraged to:
-
Photograph the package before opening it;
-
Photograph any visible damage to the product or packaging;
-
Keep the original packaging; and
-
Contact Saffa Supply as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers should not dispose of damaged packaging until the matter has been resolved.
Any rights the customer may have under South African consumer-protection legislation remain unaffected.
10. Lost Parcels
If your order appears to have been lost during delivery, please contact Saffa Supply.
We will reasonably assist with investigating the shipment with the courier.
Where the loss occurs before delivery has been accepted by the customer, the applicable legal rules regarding responsibility and risk will apply.
Nothing in this policy is intended to transfer risk to the customer earlier than permitted by applicable South African law.
11. Incorrect or Missing Items
If you receive an item that you did not order, or an item is missing from your order, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We may request photographs, order information or other reasonable evidence to assist with investigating the issue.
Where the issue is caused by Saffa Supply, we will take reasonable steps to correct the error.
12. Delivery to Remote Areas
Certain areas may require additional delivery time depending on courier availability and geographic location.
Where additional time is reasonably expected, we may notify the customer.
Any additional delivery arrangements will remain subject to the courier's available service areas.
13. Delivery Charges
Applicable delivery charges, if any, will be displayed during checkout or otherwise communicated before the order is completed.
Standard Delivery — R99 flat rate on all orders.
Free Delivery — Complimentary delivery on all orders over R1,000.
Saffa Supply reserves the right to change delivery charges from time to time, provided that the applicable charge is disclosed to the customer before the order is completed.
14. Risk During Delivery
Where required by applicable South African law, goods remain at Saffa Supply's risk until delivery and acceptance by the customer.
We will not attempt to contractually transfer responsibility for loss or damage to the customer where the law places that responsibility on the supplier.
15. Delivery Estimates and Force Majeure
The stated 8–11 business day delivery period is based on our normal delivery process and the courier services available to us.
Events outside our reasonable control may affect delivery times.
These may include natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, civil unrest, infrastructure failures, major transportation disruptions, government restrictions, courier disruptions and other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or anticipated.
Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and keep customers informed where appropriate.
This clause does not remove any mandatory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights provided by South African law.
16. Failure to Deliver Within the Agreed Period
If Saffa Supply is unable to deliver an order within the applicable agreed delivery period, we will take reasonable steps to communicate the delay and, where appropriate, agree on an alternative delivery arrangement with the customer.
Nothing in this policy limits a consumer's rights where applicable law provides a right to cancel an order or receive a refund because of a failure to deliver as agreed.
17. Orders Placed During Promotions
During major promotional periods, sales events and public holidays, order volumes may be significantly higher than usual.
This may affect processing and delivery times.
The applicable delivery estimate will be communicated to customers at checkout or through the order confirmation where appropriate.
